I’d been wanting to make something like this for years—little love notes to leave on a cafe table or hand to someone on the street, to spark an unexpected mini-burst of warmth and connection.

Each set contains 16 different doodled-and-colored phrases of encouragement, with a decorative back side. They’re printed on card stock and measure approximately 2 × 3 inches (5 × 7 cm) each, similar to the size of a business card. All sets are the same, even though a different card may be showing in front of the little pack.

My favorite way of using them so far is to fan them out in my hands like playing cards, face down, and watch as people (shopkeepers, friends, customers at a sale) pull one and read it. Then I get to watch their eyes light up. 🌟

You could also tuck a card into a lunch box, briefcase (do people still use those?), or greeting card; leave one on the car seat or a park bench; clip them to a string and hang it in a tree out by the curb… You get it. ✨

Sometimes small gestures have a mighty impact.
