“Moondance” is a moody, ethereal collaged scene, full of texture and drama and waiting for your own interpretation. What just happened? What’s about to happen? Who just left the scene?

This imagery was part of a much larger collage painting I sold a few years ago — one I titled, “Midlife.” You might not expect it from this scene and the larger work’s title, but making that piece filled me with immense joy. I could barely work on it without smiling the whole time. (Yes, that’s how I feel about being middle aged! It’s the best.)
