This is a series of mini-books or “zines”, created and written by Pam Consear and her daughter, Elena Consear Ramos. (Pam is the founder of All Hands Art, which you can read about here.)

You’ll notice the books are penned by hand and reproduced at a local copy shop. Why so low-tech? Because we have things to say, and we’re too impatient to wait for a publisher’s approval, that’s why. And we’ve found that people actually read things that come in bite-sized packages.
