About the “Making Soul” blog and podcast 🧐

Making Soul is a project started by Pam Consear of All Hands Art (me, the creator of this website you landed on) in December 2023. The Making Soul blog and podcast are hosted on Substack, a platform for writers in the interwebs.

I’d love it if you joined our conversation over there about how to bring more soul into our everyday lives, to heal ourselves and the world. (Small ask, right? 😉)

What’s on this website here? What’s with the “blog” and “podcast” headings I’m seeing up there 👆🏽?

This All Hands Art website contains the archives of my blog stretching all the way back to 2013-ish, I think? and which I wrapped up in December 2023. It’s under the heading “blog” in the main navigation bar. In 2020 I starting writing and posting regularly, where before that it was kinda like when I got around to making the effort. 🤪 But still, there’s loads of thoughtful articles there that I’m really proud of. I’d love for you to take a peek. You can be transported there by clicking here or the blog heading at the top of the page.

In early 2020 I also started an adventure called the Accidental Muralist Podcast. That little experiment is hosted here on my website under the heading “podcast” 😉, and also on Apple Podcasts. I wrapped it up in December 2023 as well. Such a valuable experience! I think you’d enjoy listening to any of the 35 episodes I recorded on my MacBook Pro voice recorder, sans the use of any fancier equipment or editing/production staff. Yep, just me and my laptop.

Anyway, I thought I’d explain the shifts going on around here, and encourage you, once again, to check out my latest project, Making Soul. (That is, unless you feel that there’s enough soul in the world already and that conjuring more would just ruin things. 🤔)
