Week 4: Shadow of a Bat

Here's entry #4 of my Color-a-Week project. Scroll down past this entry for weeks 1-3. I have a soft spot in my heart for bats. So beneficial, yet so misunderstood! If only they were cuter, like the (relatively) useless panda...

Also, the challenge of photographing "black" things called to mind a college painting class in which I discovered that to make things appear realistically black and not flat you have to use many other colors of paint. But maybe that's a topic for another time.
