The Original Artist

Hey, Gorgeous!

Spring is palpable in the Pacific Northwest air, from the scent of daphne to the varied rain-sun-hail-mist-downpour events. (On cue, a rainbow appears as I’m writing this. 🌈 ) Our backyard blueberries pop buds out daily, yellow patches of daffodils dot the town, and the birds sound extra chatty these days.

So for a PICTURES post on the topic of Originality, it seems fitting to pay tribute to the original artist herself, Mother Earth. I captured these dozen photos in a single lunchtime walk around the neighborhood (and to my compost bin) this week. 🤓 Beauty is there, ready to strike your heart with awe each time you remember to pay attention.

Enjoy!

If you feel so moved, I’d love to receive a photo 📸 YOU’VE made recently, either of your original artwork 🎨 or that of the Divine Creatrix. 🌎💫 This “ask” is not for inclusion in an upcoming blog post, but as a personal exchange between you and me. It’ll make my day 🥰, and maybe offer you a creative risk-taking opportunity? 😉

Finding magnificence in small things everywhere,
Pam

P.S. If you’d like practice channeling inspiration and ideas from your heart-mind through your fingertips and onto paper, I hope you’ll join us for the next gathering of the Doodling Lunatics 🖍🌙. It’s Saturday, April 9th at 10 am Pacific Time, on Zoom. Mark your calendar now, please. 🤓 Our first two sessions have been lovely, in my humble opinion, and we are ready to welcome you. More about it here.

Side note: So far we’ve had heavy representation from the west coast of Turtle Island, plus Arizona. I love that! Also, how fun would it be to see friends from other parts of the 🌍🌎🌏? Answer: Super fun! This time zone converter can help you plan for April 9th. I’ll send the Zoom link when it gets closer.
