Episode 27: The Perks of Turning Upside-Down

Remember that feeling, as a kid, of turning cartwheels in the grass or standing on your head?

Yeah, I still do that. I can’t get enough of the view. 🙃

Today’s podcast episode delves into the art of picking green beans, spotting forgotten books, and turning popular beliefs about the dangers of nature upside-down — all made possible by looking at the world from a new perspective.

Enjoy the 32-ish minute listen! 🎧 Then I’d love to hear what beliefs you’ve been upending. 🧐

Doodling: Real-World Applications

Here’s one way I’m using doodling to reimagine a situation. This is a copy of the four page handwritten letter I doodled, colored, and mailed (in a large doodled envelope) to the new owner-developers of the “burnt house lot” next door. Who knows? Maybe it will find its way to a human with a soft spot for trees, birds, and local community well-being. We won’t know unless we ask.

My next goal is getting some neighbors to join me in writing letters.

Looking up, down, and sideways for new possibilities,
Pam
